Bag Pack in Tesco Gorey 2012

Over the Easter weekend, around €4,500 was raised by 40 volunteers who packed shopping bags, to raise funds for an A&E room for children in Wexford General Hospital. Caroline said this was a great sum, and sent a huge thank you to all the packers from Enniscorthy, Carnew, Gorey, Arklow and Aughrim.

“I don’t think people realise the hard work that goes into this by all, and to get so many on board, particularly on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, was simply amazing.”

said Caroline.

Caroline also thanked the staff and management of Tesco for making them feel so welcome and also sent a big thank you to the public who supported the fundraiser.
